Broghil Festival Adventure

Embark on a thrilling highland adventure to Broghil Valley in Upper Chitral. Experience the vibrant Broghil Festival with yak polo, folk dances, horse races, and local Wakhi culture. This 9-day expedition combines scenic drives, mountain landscapes, cultural immersion, and camping under the stars.

Day 01 – Arrival in Islamabad

Meet at Islamabad International Airport and transfer to hotel. Optional evening excursion to Shah Faisal Mosque or Daman-e-Koh.
Overnight Islamabad

Drive via Dir and Lowari Tunnel, stopping for lunch and scenic photography. Check-in at hotel.
Overnight Chitral

Drive through Booni village, enjoy apricot orchards and mountain views. Evening walk around Mastuj riverbank and bazaar.
Overnight Mastuj

 Off-road journey via Yarkhun Valley to Broghil. Campsite setup amid high peaks. Dinner around campfire.
Overnight Broghil (Camping)

 Full-day festival celebrations: Yak Polo, horse races, tug-of-war, folk dances, local food, and cultural exhibitions. Evening bonfire.
Overnight Broghil

Optional hikes or horse rides to Karambar Lake viewpoint. Visit Wakhi homes and interact with locals. Evening tea and campfire dinner.
Overnight Broghil (Camping)

 Return drive via Yarkhun Valley. Lunch at local teahouse. Evening check-in at Mastuj guesthouse.
Overnight Mastuj

Visit Chitral Fort, Shahi Mosque, and Chitral Bazaar. Optional panoramic views from Birmoghlasht Hill.
Overnight Chitral

Drive back via Lowari Tunnel with lunch stop in Dir. Evening arrival and hotel check-in.
Overnight Islamabad

Optional visit to Lok Virsa Museum or Saidpur Village before airport transfer.

  • Tissue rolls, Tooth Brush, Toothpaste, Soap and Shampoo.
  • Hand lamp torch, camera with extra batteries.
  • CNIC (Very important).

  • Immoral conduct or misbehavior with organizers, team members, or participants is strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking in the transport vehicle is strictly not allowed under any circumstances.

  • Females should be given special respect and privacy at all times.

  • Local norms and traditions must always be respected.

  • Members will be held accountable for any litter they produce. Please act responsibly and show signs of being educated.

  • Environmental care is mandatory. No garbage should be disposed of irresponsibly. Keep wrappers and empty bottles with you and dispose of them properly.

  • For group bookings, payment will be collected based on the number of people confirmed by the group’s focal person.

  • Anyone unable to attend the trip will still be charged in full.
