K2 Base Camp is the starting point for expeditions to K2, the world’s second-highest peak (8,611m), located in the Karakoram Range of Pakistan. Standing at approximately 5,150 meters (16,896 feet), the base camp is reached through one of the most challenging yet scenic treks in the world. The journey takes around 12 to 16 days for a round trip and is best undertaken between June and September.
