The Soon Valley or Soon Sakesar is located inย Khushab District. The Soon Valley starts from Padhrar village and ends in Sakesar which is the highest peak of the Salt Range. Soon Valley is like a cup surrounded by rolling unsymmetrical green hills presenting a breathtaking vista.ย Known for its natural beauty, the valley provides a unique sanctuary to a host of migratory birds in winter.
Soon Valley is in the north west of Khushab District, Punjab, Pakistan. Its largest
settlement is the town of Naushera. The valley extends from the village of Padhrar to
Sakesar, the highest peak in the Salt Range. The valley is 35 miles long and has an
average width of 9 miles. It covers a 300-square-mile area
The Valley has an abundance of scenic beauty, with lakes, waterfalls, jungle, natural
pools and ponds. The valley has been settled since ancient times, most recently by the
Awan tribe, which still resides in the valley. The peak of Mount Sakesar is at 5,010 feet
(1,530 m) above sea level.
Khabikki Lake is a salt water lake, in the Soan Sakaser Valley in the southern Salt Range area in Khushab District, Punjab, Pakistan. This lake is formed due to the absence of drainage in the range. It is part of Uchhali Wetlands Complex and has been designated a Ramsar site
Kanhatti garden is located in the Soon Valley, District Khushab, Punjab, Pakistan, and is a beautiful travel destination. It is a home to some beautiful and stunning waterfalls that give marvelous views. These beauties in the Kanhatti Garden have made it a major tourist attraction in Soon Valley.
Kanhatti garden was established in 1933 by Major W Whet Burn who was a District
Engineer of Shahpore. Kanhat is a natural rock that is found in natural water springs. On the name of that rock, this area has been given the name of Kanhatti Garden.
