Rakaposhiย is a crown jewel of Nagar and Hunza Valley. It is present in Nagar Valley and every eye that falls upon Rakaposhi is stunned by the majestic views. Treks in these valleys, seldom on the itineraries of trekkers, are easily accessible by road with mostly simple trails and breathtaking vistas. These treks tend to be the simplest, and the hot favorite trek for the newcomers. Besides this trek, the visitors can enjoy a drive on the Karakorum highway surrounded by majestic mountains and lush green landscapes.
Karimabad is a charming high perched town offering spectacular views of the Hunza Valley. We have a full day here for rest, adaptation, and sightseeing. There will be some good walk along the water channels from where the fields of Hunza are watered. It will be the apricot season and everyone will be picking and drying the new crop. The whitewashed Baltit Castle, once ruling Mirโs estate, watches over the valley, and is now a museum. Altit Fort is even more dramatic, poised over a sheer drop to the Hunza River.
