- Pakistan International Airlines flies daily from Islamabad to Skardu. However, since the pilots fly on mere sight (no computer navigation), the flight only goes on clear days. During the flight it’s possible to catch a glimpse of Nanga Parbat (the 9th highest mountain in the world) and K2 (the 2nd highest mountain in the world. Baltit Fort is a fort in the Hunza valley, near the town of Karimabad, in the Gilgit-Baltistan
region of northern Pakistan. Founded in the 8th century CE, it has been on the UNESCO
World Heritage Tentative list since 2004.The Mirs of Hunza abandoned the fort in 1945, and moved to a new palace down the hill.

Hussaini Bridge known as the most dangerous bridge in the world, only one of many precarious rope bridges in Northern Pakistan. I would suggest you to visit, but won’t suggest you to cross it. Fun Fact: It has 399 steps.
The bridge was built during the time of British occupation of the valley in Shishak village in Gojal Valley
however, during the construction of the Karakoram Highway, the bridge was moved from Shishkat to Hussaini Village in 1968 as ordered by the Mir of Hunza Muhammad Jamal Khan to connect Hussaini village to Zar.
